SHIKATA is a singer-songwriter originally from Kyoto, Japan.
Influenced by her older brother, she started playing the guitar. After making a graduation song with friends for their university graduation ceremony, she began to seriously aspire to making music.
She later moved to Tokyo and joined the “Yoshimura Hiraku Band” as part of the chorus along with Osamu Nishida and Kenji Hatakeyama. They also worked together in music composition
She made her debut on Hiraku Yoshimura’ mini album production

上京後、作曲活動と並行して西田修大や畠山健嗣らとともに「よしむらひらくバンド」にコーラスとして参加。
よしむらひらく氏がプロデュース「どこに行っちゃうんだろう EP」にデビュー。現在東京活動中
