Japanese Hip Hop artist Kimi-E started his rap career in 1999 as he worked at various hip hop events around his hometown of Aichi in Nagoya Japan. With has a cool and original sound he seems ready to take Japan by storm.
In 2001 he began working solo and went on to open for some big name acts in Japan. In 2002 he took a major step when he went to live in America on his own. He actually began working in California’s Long Beach, hometown to two of his favorite artists Snoop Dog and Warren G.
While there he hooked with producer DJ MK/MC JACK and established the group Unlimited Smokers (ULS). This all lead to regular event gigs at 2 downtown LA clubs, while continuing to grow his network. He then set up The Hip Hop troupe Soundaholics which led to more event gigs at famous clubs in California featuring Japanese Rappers.

99年、それまでのバンド活動を経てHip Hop Unit、快LUXを結成しRap活動をスタート。地元、愛知、岐阜を中心に地方にも目を向け毎月数多くのイベントに参加する。
01年、ソロ活動開始。大物アーティストの前座など数々の経験を積む。02年、単身渡米。当時、憧れを抱いていたアーティストSnoop DoggやWarren G のホームタウンであるLong Beachに活動拠点を移す。その頃、現プロデューサーDJ MK・MC Jackと出会いUnLimited Smoker(ULS)を結成。L.A DowntownにあるGrand Avenue Night Club、Club Sohoなどでレギュラーイベントのプロモーター、パフォーマーとして多種多様な人種の中ネットワークをさらに広げてゆく。
その後、MC、DJ、Singer、Dancer、Selector、Promoter、Desiner等、多国籍な仲間達と音楽中毒集団 “SOUNDHOLICS”を結成。HollywoodのクラブSky SushiやWest L.Aの Good Hurtではレギュラーイベント、“JUKE BOX” を展開し毎回大盛況のイベントとして、その名はL.Aアンダーグラウンドシーンに轟く。またジャパニーズラッパーとして数々の イベントにも積極的に参加し多くのアーティストとの共演の中から信頼を深めていった。
＊2009年11月からヒップホップアーチストDEE Qとコラボレーションアルバム「Lookin For US?」をリリース。今オンラインショップ、などで発売中。
