With roots in China (grandparents) and Japan pop-rock singer song-writer Ranka<\/strong> is another example of the diversity coming to the Japanese music scene. After making her debut on the rock record “Roots” she went on perform live regularly as well as releasing music for cell phone sites and online web shops. Her music has ranked well in the Myspace J-Pop and Acoustic rankings. She joined the popular cover album “SWEETS”<\/strong> in 2009 and her new cover album\u00a0 “SWEETS! MACARON POP”<\/strong> featuring 2 of her original songs will be released on November 18th<\/strong>.\u00a0 With her sweet vocals and style, she is a singer to look out for in Japan.<\/p>\n
