Jazz vocalist Miho Ishibashi<\/strong> became acquainted with jazz music and the electric organ at a very young age. Years later, as she was studying abroad in England, she began to devote herself to the jazz genre.<\/p>\n

It was also in London, England that she had a chance encounter with the late great jazz singer Blossom Dearie<\/a>. It was this encounter and the subsequent conversation that made up her mind to become a jazz vocalist.<\/p>\n

She officially entered the Jazz scene after returning to Japan and had her debut live gig in 2005 at Osaka Jazz on Top<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since then she has continued to do shows around Japan, as well as making appearances on radio.<\/p>\n

Her first album “Sing a Rainbow”<\/strong> was released in 2010 and is available online via amazon<\/a>, itunes <\/a>and cdbaby (international)<\/a>. A highly recommended artist.<\/p>\n
