Influenced at a young age by legendary artists like Aretha Franklin<\/strong>, vocalist Megu Imaji<\/strong> took stage for the first time when she was 13.<\/p>\n

Afterward, between 2005 and 2007 she participated in and won<\/span> several Music Contests. During this period she also visited the home of “Black” Soul Music..America.<\/p>\n

In New York she auditioned for and was accepted as an entrant for the historically known “Amateur Night” at the Apollo Theater in New York!<\/p>\n

Megu returned to Japan in 2008 with increased confidence from her time in NY. She immediately made impact by ranking in at number 1 on a popular Asia based music site. In 2009 she released her first single “My Way” and her second single “WoMan” in 2010. Both receiving great reaction from the music community and fans.<\/p>\n

Wearing all the hats for composing, track making and song writing, Megumi Furukawa is working hard to place herself on the world stage. Be sure to watch out for this talented singer.<\/p>\n
