Meiso<\/strong> is a Hip Hop MC based in the city of Honolulu, a hub for intersecting cultures. In Japan he is known in the hip hop world for winning the B-BOY PARK 2003 MC Battle under the name Gaijin 21 Meiso.<\/p>\n

Born to a Japanese mother and American father, Meiso was raised in a bilingual environment which has allowed him to develop a unique style and world view reflected in the lyrics of his music. In addition he is an accomplished Free Style rapper showing his affinity with words and enabling him to express the coolness of rap through both English and Japanese.<\/p>\n

He is currently signed with indies label Mary Joy Recordings and released his first full album in 2009 “Yoru no Touzoku” (Night Marauders)<\/strong> available on iTunes Japan now!<\/p>\n
